SPECTRA OF VIOLET LASERS (2) (NEWEST {03-25-12 and 01-13-13} SPECTROMETER SOFTWARE SETTINGS USED)

This web page will be for nothing but spectra of lasers.
Ocean Optics USB2000 Spectrometer donated by P.L.
As of 10-10-07, I've been using a PC2000-ISA Spectrometer from Ocean Optics that I received several years ago, but that I didn't have a home for until now.
As of 03-08-08, I once again have the USB2000 spectrometer, enabling color spectra again.
As of 09-19-09, I no longer have the PC2000-ISA; it was sold to prevent an eviction.

VIOLET LASERS (or "LAZERS" if you prefer to be incorrect) (NEWEST {03-25-12 and 01-13-13} SPECTROMETER SOFTWARE SETTINGS USED):

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the Blu-ray laser diode in the 405nm Violet Portable Laser w/ Adjustable Focus + Charger.
Wavelength appears to be ~410m, which is within specification for the type of laser diode used in this laser.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the Blu-ray laser diode in the 405nm Violet Portable Laser w/ Adjustable Focus + Charger; but spectrometer's response narrowed to a band between 410nm and 420nm.
This shows that the wavelength is in fact 413.570nm.

The raw spectrometer data (tab-delimited that can be loaded into Excel) is at http://ledmuseum.candlepower.us/45/br30.txt

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the Blu-ray laser diode in the Mini Purple Class Laser Beam Black Keychain right at lasing threshold; spectrometer's response narrowed to a band between 390nm and 415nm. Newest (01-13-13) spectrometer software settings used.

Spectrographic analysis of the Blu-ray laser diode in the Mini Purple Class Laser Beam Black Keychain; newest (01-13-13) spectrometer software settings used.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the Blu-ray laser diode in the Mini Purple Class Laser Beam Black Keychain; but spectrometer's response narrowed to a band between 395nm and 405nm.
Newest (01-13-13) spectrometer software settings used.
This shows that the wavelength is 400.688nm.

The raw spectrometer data (comma-delimited that can be loaded into Excel) is at http://ledmuseum.candlepower.us/42/br17.txt

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the Blu-ray (Violet-Emitting) Portable Laser; spectrometer's response narrowed to a band between 403nm and 412nm to pinpoint wavelength, which is 406.007nm.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the Blu-ray laser diode in the Handheld ~412nm Blu-ray (Violet-Emitting) Laser.
As before, wavelength appears to be ~410nm, which is within specification for the type of laser diode used in this laser.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the Blu-ray laser diode in the Handheld ~412nm Blu-ray (Violet-Emitting) Laser; but spectrometer's response narrowed to a band between 411nm and 416nm to pinpoint wavelength, which is 413.566nm.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the Blu-ray laser diode in the 50mW 405nm Handheld Ultra Powerful Violet Purple Blue Laser Pen 1010 (1×CR123A) ; newer spectrometer software settings used.
Wavelength appears to be ~405nm, which is within specification for the type of laser diode used in this laser.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the Blu-ray laser diode in the 50mW 405nm Handheld Ultra Powerful Violet Purple Blue Laser Pen 1010 (1×CR123A) (newer spectrometer software settings used); but spectrometer's response narrowed to a band between 400nm and 410nm to pinpoint wavelength, which is 403.933nm.

Do you manufacture or sell an LED flashlight, task light, utility light, or module of some kind? Want to see it tested by a real person, under real working conditions? Do you then want to see how your light did? If you have a sample available for this type of real-world, real-time testing, please contact me at ledmuseum@gmail.com.

Please visit this web page for contact information.

Unsolicited flashlights, LEDs, and other products appearing in the mail are welcome, and it will automatically be assumed that you sent it in order to have it tested and evaluated for this site.
Be sure to include contact info or your company website's URL so visitors here will know where to purchase your product.
