LED-eshop.de YH-590-550 Yellow LED
Received 11-13-08, tested 11-25-08

This is a 5mm round through-hole LED that emits an amberish-yellow light. Peak wavelength appears to be 595.9nm - *VERY CLOSE* to where it ought to be.

Beam photograph on the test target at 12".
Intensity measures 4,620mcd on a Meterman LM631 light meter.
Vf (forward voltage) is 2.056 volts at 19.28mA.
Viewing angle is 50°.

Same as above; but intentionally uncropped to show the smooth, circular beam.

LED-eshop.de Y-595-5110YD Yellow LED
Received 11-13-08, tested 11-24-08

This is a 5mm round through-hole LED that emits a yellow light. Peak wavelength appears to be 596.9nm - *VERY CLOSE* to where it ought to be. This LED comes in a yellow-tinted diffused body, not transparent water-clear like many others.

Beam photograph on the test target at 12".
Intensity measures 300mcd on a Meterman LM631 light meter.
This is a wide viewing angle LED, and if I've told you once, I've told you 31,054,500 times:
Wider viewing angles always, always, ALWAYS equal lower mcd values.

Vf (forward voltage) is 2.012 volts at 19.28mA.
Viewing angle is 110°.

LED-eshop.de BG-505-530/C Blue-Green LED
Received 11-13-08, tested 11-24-08

This is a 5mm round through-hole LED that emits a greenish-blue light. Peak wavelength appears to be 502.1nm - *VERY CLOSE* to where it ought to be.

Beam photograph on the test target at 12".
Intensity measures 10,800mcd on a Meterman LM631 light meter.
Vf (forward voltage) is 2.910 volts at 19.28mA.
Viewing angle is 30°.

Same as above; but intentionally uncropped to show the smooth, circular beam.

LED-eshop.de B-470-550BD/D Blue LED
Received 11-13-08, tested 11-23-08

This is a 5mm round through-hole LED that emits a blue light. Peak wavelength appears to be 459.6nm - a little shorter in wavelength than it should be - but not so much shorter as to drastically alter the color. This LED is in a blue-tinted diffused body, as opposed to being transparent, water-clear.

Beam photograph on the test target at 12".
Intensity measures 940mcd on a Meterman LM631 light meter.
This is a wide viewing angle LED, and if I've told you once, I've told you 2,458,770 times:
Wider viewing angles always, always, ALWAYS equal lower mcd values.

Vf (forward voltage) is 2.939 volts at 19.28mA.
Viewing angle is 50°.
