MEMORIAL FOR JIMBO'S
CAT BUDDY FUDDSTER

Last updated 07-26-12

These kitty cats do not emit light of its own (they were cats for Christ sakes!!!), so the standard review format will not be used and the kitties will not be assigned a rating. This page will contain mainly just five photographs and some text (as of 07-26-12).

This cute little bundle of joy, Buddy Fuddster aka. Mr. Fuddster was owned by Jimbo on the Commercials I Hate BBS.

Jimbo loved the living tweedle out of his little fuzzbomb!!!

I say "was" and "loved" here because he passed over the Rainbow Bridge on 07-18-12.

Jimbo said (and I quote):

(From 07-18-12)

I lost another little pal today.
My 13 year old cat Buddy Fuddster passed away in my arms this afternoon around 2:30 or so.
He just got old & his kidneys began to fail.
I switched his diet & made sure he got plenty of moist food & lots of water, but it was just a matter of time. His last weeks were as comfortable as I could make them. He went out in the backyard every evening & laid in the grass & the cool breeze. All his meals were his favorite canned food & I fed him as much as he would eat.
I will miss him terribly, but I am relieved he is out of his misery & I hope he's with Shmoopy now, playing & having fun. And I pray that I'm reunited with them both someday.
But for now I'll just be sad.
Goodbye Mr. Fuddster.

I actually lost Buddy weeks ago when he first started getting thin & started staying hidden away all day, only coming out to eat.
The cat who I nursed & fed during that time was just a shell of my old friend & I was already missing him even before he passed away.
No more jumping in my lap, or putting his paws on the chair arm so I could scratch his head.
No more climbing in my lap & walking across it while I was trying to post here, forcing me to move my laptop over to one knee so he'd have room to lie down on my other leg.
No more grabbing & "snugglin" him "against his will" as he walked past me on the sofa knowing good & well that I probably would, rubbing my face in his fur, scratching his belly & "rasslin" with him, all while he'd squirm around trying to get away, only to stay there for a minute or so after I let him go. Then, after jumping down, he'd come back for more 10 or 15 minutes later.

He always put up with it & never once in his entire life ever getting mad, hissing or pinning his ears back at me.
He was just a good natured cat. And he understood that the snugglin & rasslin was really affection.
I'm choking up just writing about it.

These adorable little fuzzbombs were Buddy and Shmoopy playing together.

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge...

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

THEN YOU CROSS RAINBOW BRIDGE TOGETHER...
